Earshot Jazz Golden Ear Awards Showcased at The Royal Room, Monday, 3/16/26

For longtime West Seattleite, Jay Cates considered debuting his much-anticipated debut original New Jazz LP at Easy Street Records “a bucket-list item that just needs to be checked.” Jay finally got to check that box, when he signs released limited-edition (only 100 prints made), red-opaque, full-length vinyl LPs of 'At Long Last Love', along with a complimentary performance of many of the album’s tracks.
In many ways, At Long Last Love, is both a refreshingly respectful homage to what made Jay fall in love with jazz in the first place, and an acknowledgment that the album would never have even happened without the support, encouragement, contributions and, yes, the love between Jay and his “West Seattle Framily.” With Easy Street being the hub of all things West Seattle, for Jay’s personal and musical lives, there was no place he considered to share this milestone.

SULK has evolved into a harder-edged, driving force, blending elements of dream pop, garage rock, and indie rock. Their lyrics range from dreamy to esoteric to outright absurd, delivering a sound that’s as unpredictable as it is electrifying.
Active in the Seattle music scene, SULK regularly plays local venues and festivals, captivating audiences with their dynamic performances.
Alternative Press calls King Youngblood “Seattle’s Alt Rock Princes” - they sure got that right. Founder and front man Cameron Lavi-Jones, along with, drummer Paul “Styqx” Stoot, cellist Chet Peterson, and bassist Samy Garcia have a singular mission: grab heavy guitar/drums rock by the collar and drag it into the willing arms of the fresh new generation of fans currently fueling the world-wide resurgence of rock music.
THANK YOU TO THE RAVEN FOR HOSTING A TRULY ASTONISHING LINEUP OF TALENT. TOO GOOD TO MISS.
